About Saqqara Technology

We develop, publish, and supply computer software and, most recently, have started a small book publishing arm. We also offer consultancy and development services.

Our name. Saqqara, Egypt is the site of many ancient remains including the oldest large monumental work in stone, the Step Pyramid of Djoser. This, the first of the large pyramids, was built around 2800 B.C. Imhotep, its architect, was later deified and his name associated with that of Thoth, the god of the Moon, wisdom, writing and learning. If you have Google Earth installed, you can explore an aerial view of Saqqara here.
