The upcoming InScribe 2008 brings additional functionality to that given in the 2004 release, including an extended sign list and support for new standards and modes of working with hieroglyphs. Beta materials (see here) are being made available to users who have pre-ordered.
InScribe 2004 from Saqqara Technology is the current release of the popular Word Processor for Egyptian Hieroglyphs introduced in 1994. With an extended and improved hieroglyphic font and a faster and more flexible user interface, InScribe remains the only comprehensive software for Egyptian Hieroglyphs interoperable with word processing software such as Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, and OpenOffice/StarOffice Writer.
